The Farm

We get a lot of compliments on the beauty of our farm and are sometimes asked if we would consider selling.  The answer is "yes".  We will be moving to a new location in spring/summer of 2023, so our beautiful farm will be for sale.  Please enjoy the photos and scroll down further for details.

Your New Neighborhood Awaits You (and your horses)

If you want to live in Woodstock or South Woodstock, you know there is nothing available on the market.

People are now selling properties in advance of a future move.

If you Lived Here, You would be home now

Additional Information

The Property:  The property consists of roughly 15 acres, 2 for the house/barn site, 6 in horse pasture, 2 in goat pasture and the rest wooded.  It is accessed by a beautiful right of way over a 14 acre field, so it is tucked into the hillside and very private.  The views are of Mount Ascutney, neighboring farms, and a pond.

Buildings:  Approximately 2800 sqft, 3 bedroom Yankee Barn home (exposed timbers) with attached 2 car garage, rear deck and covered porch overlooking a pond.  7-stall 1 tack room (heated) monitor style barn with hay storage for 200 bales.  Chicken coop (8x12).  Tractor/equipment barn.

Barns were built in 2019.  House was built in the 80s and was updated again in 2018.

South Woodstock:  Just five miles from the Woodstock village green is the hamlet of South Woodstock, one of the most desirable communities in the region.  The Kedron Brook meanders through the postcard-perfect valley, location of many historic federal and colonial houses and some of the area's most gracious and storied estates.  Generations of families continue to call South Woodstock home, ready to pass on the history of the place to anyone who asks or would like to listen.

South Woodstock is also home of the venerable Green Mountain Horse Association, host to the most precise and beautiful equestrian dressage events to rougher, down-to-earth 50 and 100 mile trail rides.   Trails can be accessed from our property a short distance down the road.  Or, ride your horse to GMHA.

Available for a summer 2023 move-in.

Emails will only be returned if they originate from a qualified real estate agent or lawyer.
